Dr. Mark Hutchin is pleased to announce that Dr. L. Evan Michael M.D., Ph.D. has joined his practice and is now seeing patients at Dermatology of North Asheville located at 209 East Chestnut Street.
"I am very excited to welcome Dr. Michael to my practice," said Dr. Hutchin. "Along with his impressive credentials, he brings a calm, sincere demeanor and a commitment to provide outstanding patient-centered care.”
Dr. Michael attended medical school and graduate school at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where he received his Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology. He performed his internship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan, New York, and completed his Dermatology residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Michael then returned to New York, where he completed his fellowship in Dermatopathology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University.
Before his move to scenic Asheville, Dr. Michael was part of a dermatology practice near Atlanta, GA. Dr. Michael is looking forward to the transition, and says, “I am so pleased to join Dr. Hutchin and the team at Dermatology of North Asheville. Their mission to provide attentive, timely, and individualized care is especially important in the field of dermatology.” He and his wife, Jessica, are enjoying the beauty of Western North Carolina and are also excited to explore the community.
